Sentinel Ops
Dual-authentication field workflows for industrial operations
Some field jobs are too important for a single set of eyes. Loading the wrong product, skipping a washout check, or misreading a quantity can mean contamination, rework, downtime, or a compliance failure. Sentinel Ops exists for those jobs: it requires two authorized people to independently verify the same work before it proceeds, and it keeps the proof.
Sentinel Ops is developed by Four Eyez Company, LLC and is currently in pilot evaluation with industrial users.
How It Works
- A job is opened with a defined checklist. Each procedure — product, quality, previous cargo, cleanliness, compatibility, washout, line-up, equipment, protective measures, emergency readiness, and documents — is checked explicitly, not assumed.
- The first operator records the work. Readings and observations are entered on a mobile device in the field, with photo and document evidence captured against the job.
- A second operator verifies independently. The verifier works from their own device and their own observations — the platform enforces that the verifier cannot be the same person who performed the work.
- Both sides sign. Each job produces a signed, time-stamped record. Completed jobs move to managers as importable report data, giving operations and audit a complete evidence trail.
Built for the Field
- Offline-first. Yards, terminals, and plant floors do not guarantee connectivity. Sentinel Ops jobs can be transferred directly between devices offline and synchronized later, with signed receipts confirming each handoff.
- Same-person lockout. The person who performed a check cannot verify their own work. The two-person rule is enforced by the software, not by policy alone.
- Evidence on every job. Photos, documents, readings, and timestamps are captured as part of the workflow and tied to the job record.
- Protected local data. Job data on the device is stored encrypted, with re-authentication required to open saved work.
- Management reporting. Managers import completed job packages and get structured reports for operations review and audit.
Pilot Program
Sentinel Ops is currently in pilot evaluation. We work with a small number of industrial operations to run the platform against real procedures, gather operator and manager feedback, and harden the workflow before general release. Pilot participants get direct access to the development team and a voice in the product roadmap.
